GIÒ LỤA - STEAM SILKY PASTY PORK

Gio lua is made from lean pig meat. Traditionally the meat is pounded with a pestle by hand till it becomes sticky paste, then wrapped in banana leaves and tighten by bamboo laces and boiled for couple of hours.
GIÒ LỤA - STEAM SILKY PASTY PORK is special food in Northern Vietnam for a long time. During Tet or traditional New year Holiday every household prepares this Giò lua or pork pie.
