Day 1: Vientian arrival (-/-/D)

Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 2: Vientian city tour (B/-/D)

Full day explore Vientian, charming capital city of Laos. Visit temple Wat Sisaket, one of the oldest temple surviving. Next stop is Haw Phra Kaeo. Then move to Pha That Luang, the giant golden stupa. Continue to climb Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. Overnight in Vientian.

Day 3: Vientian – Luang Prabang (B/-/D)

Morning flight to Luang Prabang. Pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in. Afternoon visit Royal Palace built in 1904 by French for King Sisavang Vong and the family. Then to Wat Mai, impressive temple in Luang Prabang. Climb up Phou Si Mountain for stunning view, then wandering hill tribe market for shopping. Stay in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (B/-/D)

5:30 AM witness Alms-giving ceremony done by lines of monks in saffron dress. Back to hotel for breakfast. Cruise along Mekong river, stop to visit Pak Ou Caves. Short distance from the Caves we visit village of Ban Xang Hai, learn about Lau Lao, Lau Hai or Lao whisky and wine. Then move to craft village of Ban Xang Khong. Back to center for visit famous Wat Xiang Thong, very typical architecture of Laos. Stay in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfall – Hanoi (B/-/D)

Explore craft living center of Ock Pop Tok overlooking to Mekong River. Then trip to Phosi local market filled with traditional clothing and farm products. Short trek to Ban Ouay, H’mong hill tribe group. Then Ban Ou, Lowland Lao. Drive to Kuang Si Waterfall where you can splash around the pool or walk along forest paths. Free time to stroll around Bear Rescue Center. Back to old town to relax before taking flight to Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi city tour (B/-/D)

Full day city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh President’ Complex, Temple of Literature or First University of Vietnam, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Afternoon visit to Museum of Ethnology before having Rickshaw ride around the Old Quarter. Time for tasting Vietnamese coffee  at the Garden in Opera House of Hanoi

Day 7: Hanoi – Halong cruise (B/L/D)

Check out hotel and head to Halong Bay, one of 7 World Wonders of Nature. Cruise through hundred limestone islets. Visit caves, swim and kayak around the beach. Overnight on a 5 star cruise.

Day 8: Halong cruise – Hanoi (B/L/D)

Taichi in early morning before breakfast. Have sampan trip to explore another cave. Brunch before coming back the shore. Drive back to Hanoi. Free time for shopping in Old Town in Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi Departure (B/-/-)

Free until transfer to airport for flight home. End of the service.
