Frankly speaking you spend your time meaningfully in Vietnam for 5 days tour only. You visit 2 biggest cities in Vietnam, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. Visit wonderful Halong Bay, New 7 Wonders, and spend overnight on boat there. You also have enough time to visit famous war site of Cuchi tunnels, 70 km from Saigon.
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Welcome to Hanoi – Vietnam at noon by Singapore Airline. Our guide and driver pick you up then transfer to Hotel. In the afternoon visit Ba Dinh square, Ho Chi Minh former Residence, One pillar pagoda, Van Mieu temple or the first University of Vietnam. You have short walk in the Old Quarter of Hanoi with our guide. Overnight in Hanoi. ( -/-/-)
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong
After breakfast, 8:00 AM, depart to Halong city. You will drive through the Red river Delta, the cradle of Vietnam wet rice civilization. Board on boat at 12:00, enjoy lunch while cruising in Halong Bay, New seven Wonders recognized in 2012. Visit the Cave named Surprise. If the weather is nice and warm you can swim at Titop beach. Kayak is an optional. Back to the Junk, relax and enjoy sunset. Dinner on boat served with seafood. You can learn fishing guided by crews on boat. Overnight on boat. (B/L/D)
Day 3: Halong – Airport – HCM City
7:00 AM breakfast, then visit fishing village or Luon grotto by rowing boat. Back to our Junk, cruise back to Halong city passing famous Indochina movie filming area. Brunch on boat. Arrive Halong at about 11:30 AM. Drive to Hanoi airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Pick up and transfer to hotel. (B/L/-)
Day 4: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels
After breakfast, drive to Cu Chi historical site where used to be the military base for Liberation Army during Vietnam war. The complex of tunnels stretch up to 250 km. Afternoon come back to Saigon to visit Reunification Palace (formerly the Presidential Palace) then drive to Cholon, the Chinatown district of the city and visit the huge Binh Tay market. Day 5: Saigon departure
Free for shopping at Ben Thank market. Check-out. Our guide and driver take you to the airport for your flight home. End of services. (B/-/-)
