Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang (-/L/D)

Check-out hotel in Hanoi, pick up by our guide and driver at 7h00 AM. Leave for Ha Giang, around 300 km from Hanoi city. Taking photo along scenic drive in mountainous area. Lunch on the way at a local restaurant. Arrive Ha Giang in mid-afternoon. Check-in hotel in Ha Giang city.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh (B/L/D)

After breakfast, have a short walk to Tay ethnic village of Thon Tha. Enjoy beautiful view of thatched roof house and rice field. Continue driving to higher place of Ha Giang. Stop to take photo of Quan Ba pass. Walking in villages around Yen Minh town before check in hotel. Stay overnight at Yen Minh.

Day 3: Yen Minh – Dong Van – Meo Vac (B/L/D)

In the morning, leave for Dong Van where is called outdoor Karst Geo-park. Over 80% of Dong Van plateau is limestone formed by nature by passing hundred of million years. Explore culture of ethnic H’mong group at Lung Cam and visit King’s residence of Vuong Family. After lunch we continue to drive to Meo Vac, stop to take photo of stunning mountain view and Nho Que river by Ma Pi Leng pass. Check in hotel and overnight at Meo Vac.

Day 4: Meo Vac – Bao Lac – visit Lo Lo ethnic group (B/L/D)

Leave hotel and start our trip to Bao Lac. On the way stop for taking stunning photo of Ma Pi Leng pass and Nho Que river. Upon arrival Bao Lac, start our hiking to Khuoi Khon village inhabited by black Lo Lo ethnic group, who still make and wear distinct traditional costume. Lo Lo people plant rice and corn. Some remote Lo Lo villages bases on self-sufficient economy.

Day 5: Khuoi Khon village – Ba Be lake (B/L/D)

Morning trekking to villages, then drive to Ba Be lake – the largest fresh water lake on mountain in Vietnam situated in National Park. Check in homestay at Ba Be. Free to stroll around the village.

Day 6: Ba Be visit (B/L/D)

Get up and relax in fresh air with a cup of coffee by the place overlooking to the lake. Start cruise trip on Ba Be lake, move through lust forest and limestone mountain as wonderful natural picture. Visit Puong grotto and Dau Dang waterfall. Afternoon walk to witness daily life of the ethnic Tay in mountainous district. Back to your homestay at a Tay minority. Dinner and overnight there.

Day 7: Ba Be – Hanoi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, start our journey back to Hanoi. Drive through mid-land Thai Nguyen then down to the Red river Delta. Have a stop at the Museum of Culture of Vietnam Ethnic Groups in Thai Nguyen. The trip ends in Hanoi city by mid afternoon.
