Day 1: Lao Cai arrival – Muong Hum market – Y Ty (B/L/D)

The train Hanoi – Lao Cai arrives at Lao Cai station in early morning. Pick up and transfer to local restaurant for breakfast. Leave for Y Ty, a wonderful and peaceful village on high mountainous area of Lao Cai province. Stop sometimes for taking photo on the way. Visit Muong Hum Sunday market, where you will see multi colors of farm products as well as traditional dresses of ethnic H’mong, Dzao, and Tay. Muong Hum is very authentic mountain market.

Afternoon walking around villages at Muong Hum to explore daily life of the locals. Dinner and stay overnight at Y Ty Lodge.

Day 2: Choan Thien – Ngai Thau – Y Ty walking (B/L/D)

After breakfast, start our trekking day to Choan Thien and Ngai Thau villages, home to H’mong and Ha Nhi ethnic groups. Experience wonderful landscape of valley, terrace rice field, waterfall, traditional houses of Trinh Tuong, and rural activities made by the locals. Back to Y Ty lodge and spend overnight there.

Day 3: Y Ty – Lao Chai – Den Sang – Lao Cai – Hanoi (B/L/D)

Breakfast and checkout Y Ty lodge, our driver and guide take you to Lao Chai village, home to ethnic Ha Nhi. Walk through terrace rice fields and visit local house named Trinh Tuong built by Ha Nhi people. Continue to Den Sang or Sang Ma Sao village, lunch at a local house. Afternoon start to walk around the village and you have great opportunity to get amazing photos here. Drive back to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. End of the service.
