Day 1: HCM arrival
You are welcomed by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city. After checking in at the hotel, free time at leisure to recover from the long journey. Evening boat ride on Saigon river to Binh Quoi Village for folk show and welcome dinner dinner. Over night in Ho Chi Minh city. (-/-/D)
Day 2: HCM – Can Tho
Breakfast at hotel. Half day city tour includes: The Opera House, the Colonial Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, view the former Presidential Palace and the Thien Hau (Chinese Congregation) Pagoda.
Early afternoon, transfer to Can Tho via Long An town. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Can Tho. (B/L/-)
Day 3: Can Tho - HCM
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning take two-hours boat ride through the exotic rivers and canals of the Can Tho Area, such as: Cai Rang, Rach nho, you will have chance to accompany with local daily life. Return to and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.Dinner. Check in hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B/L/-)
Day 4: HCM - Hue
Breakfast at hotel. Flight to Hue city. Pick up and tour of the former Royal Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, a smaller replica of China’s Forbidden City. Enter the complex via the Ngo Mon (Noontime Gate) and enter the magnificently restored Thai Hoa Palace. Visit the Royal Library and the recently completely restored Hien Lam Pavilion, Imperial Citadel. Check in. Dinner. To Huong river for joining a live Hue tranditional music show on boat of which performed by local singers and musicians and float the “ Hoa dang” - decorative multi-coloured lanterns down the river for luck and hapiness. Day 5: Hue
Breakfast at hotel. Morning boat trip to the tomb of Minh Mang, the Nguyen Dynasty’s second-emperor (1820-1840), in the foothills of the Central Highlands; course the Perfume River and view life which hasn’t changed in centuries. Tour the most harmoniously blended tomb with its natural environment and its numerous pavilions. Return to Hue via vehicle, stopping at the Thien Mu (Heavenly Mother) Pagoda, symbol of the City of Hue. Afternoon visit Dong Ba market where you can find famous things of Hue City. Dinner at Royal Restaurant, you will be a family''''s Royal in the Dinner. (B/-/D)
Day 6: Hue - Hanoi
Breakfast at hotel. Flight to Hanoi in the morning flight. Meet local guide & driver at the airport. Transfer to Hanoi for city tour: Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), the The Huc (Rising Sun) Bridge, the Ngoc Son Temple (dedicated to national hero Tran Hung Dao, La To, saint of physicians and the scholar Van Xuong), Tortoise Pagoda in Hoan Kiem Lake, the arts gallery across from the The Huc Bridge. Temple of Literature (Den Van Mieu, circa 1070; Vietnam’s first national university). Late afternoon: one hour cyclo tour with your guide accompanying tour of the Old Quarter. Dinner. Day 7: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau
Breakfast at hotel. Land transfer to Hoa Binh, where the Northern ethnic minority groups congregate. Photo stop at Hoa Binh hydroelectric dam. Proceed to Mai Chau, the paddy valley of Mai Chau, surrounded with mountains, is home for the white-clad Thai ethnic minority. Located 120 km northwest of Hanoi, Mai Chau is well known for its natural beauty and the Thai cultural ambiance with houses on stilts and charming traditional activities. A two-day vacation to Mai Chau means staying deep in the sense of nostalgia, listening to ancestors'''' melodies and pulsing with the Thai pace. Cun Pheo, Pa Kia caves are the attractions to tourists, offering trekking day in the wild. Return to Hoa Binh. Enjoy traditional music show while sipping Can wine contained in pottery jars. Day 8: Hoa Binh – Thay Pagoda - Hanoi
Breakfast at hotel. Come back Ha Noi. On the way stop to visit Thay Pagoda in Ha Tay province. It is well-known scenic spots including the pleasant Long Tri Lake (Dragon Lake). This lake has a big house called Thuy Dinh (Water Temple) for viewing yearly water puppets shows in the middle of it two wooden bridges with curved tiled roofs and many beautiful mountain caves. Day 9: Hanoi - Halong
Breakfast at hotel. 8:00 our guide and driver pick you up from hotel, and transfer to Halong via vehicle. This will be your first opportunity to see some of the rural areas of Vietnam. The drive goes through the Red River delta, so we'll have plenty of chance for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field. Arrive in Halong at 11:30.
12:00, your boat old junk, check- in registration. Have lunch on boat. 13:30 A fantastic cruise in Halong bay will take you to exotic islets with Dog island, Incense Urn island, Sail island, Fighting cocks island, which are naturally formed by process of erosion between the sea water and limestone mountains. Arrive to Surprise Cave for visiting (one of the most beautiful cave of Halong bay) and explore the bay by swimming at Titov or Soi Sim beach.Drinking Vietnamese wine,enjoy sunset. Day 10: Halong - Hanoi
Early risers can enjoy a morning view of Bay’s landscapes. Sitting on the upper desk we can enjoy the breath - taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the Bay. We can hear the birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze.
Have breakfast. A morning cruise to visit Man's head island. Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat. Visit to Bai Tu Long bay. 10:00 Arrange luggage and check out then have lunch on boat. You will arrive in Halong wharf at 11:45.Return Ha Noi. Free time. Over night in Ha Noi. (B/L/-)
