Day 1: Hanoi – Moc
Chau (-/L/D)
Leave Hanoi for Hoa Binh province in the morning. After 135 km scenic drive, Stop at Mai Chau valley, home to ethnic Thai minority. Cycling around 15 km through rice paddy fields and villages in valley of Mai Chau district. Lunch with specialties at local house on stilts, after that have interaction of singing and dance with Thai people. Afternoon depart for Moc Chau plateau, around 1000 meter above the sea level. Have photo stop at Loong Luong village, where is beautified by peach and plump forests. Stay deep in green color of Moc Chau tea plantation. Check in hotel or homestay at Moc Chau. Dinner and free.
Day 2: Moc Chau –
Dien Bien (B/L/D)
Leave Moc Chau for Dien Bien after breakfast. Enjoy immense mountain view of North West Vietnam. Photo stop at Pha Din Pass – 32 km long, top 4 famous Passes in Northern Vietnam. Pha Din mean where the earth meet the sky. Lunch at local restaurant. Upon arrival Dien Bien, visit historical sites during anti-French Resistance War 1946 - 1954 like Muong Phang, Hoang Cong Chat temple, General Giap shelter, Vietnam Army commanding head quarter, and Noong Nhai village. Check in hotel in Dien Bien. Special dinner in Thai ethnic style then join the dance with the local at Men village.
Day 3: Dien Bien –
Son La (B/L/D)
Check out hotel in early morning, visit Dien Bien Phu Museum, battle field A1, French General Shelter, historical Muong Thanh Bridge and Nam Rom river. Lunch at local restaurant before drive to Son La province. Check in hotel at Son La city, then have dinner and free.
Day 4: Son La –
Moc Chau – Hanoi (B/L/D)
Early morning enjoy fresh air in this highland. Breakfast, check out hotel. Have visit to Son La Prison where Vietnamese patriots were kept by French during colonial time. Leave for Moc Chau plateau for lunch. Have short stop in Hoa Binh city for taking photo of Hoa Binh electric plant – the largest dam in South East Asia built during 1980s under the help from Xoviet. Arrive Hanoi in the evening. Trip ends in Hanoi.
