Day 1: Saigon arrival (-/-/D)
Arrival Tan Son Nhat International airport, meet and pick up by our guide and driver. Transfer to Ho Chi Minh city for check in. Relax and free to stroll around the city.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city tour (B/L/-)
In the morning start our city tour. Ho Chi Minh city or former name is Saigon city, over 300 years, one of the business hub in South East Asia. Visit Unification Palace used to be the Residence for President of Republic of Vietnam before 1975. Move to War Remnants Museum evoking the time and stories about Vietnam American War during 1954 – 1975. Photo stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office built by French during colonial time in Indochina. Have lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon free for shopping at Ben Thanh or Binh Tay market.
Day 3: Saigon – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi tunnels – Saigon

After breakfast , take around 2 hour drive to Tay Ninh province. Visit Cao Dai Temple and witness praying time at noon. The Temple is Caodaism that mix local belief, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Catholicism. Luch at a restaurant near the Temple before we leave for Cu Chi historical tunnels in the afternoon.
The former system of underground tunnels of Cu Chi is around 250 km including 3 level deep from 3 – 12 meters. Cu Chi is about 70 km from Saigon, where is the base for Vietnamese guerrillas fighting against US soldiers during the war before 1975. Watch video and get more stories relating to Vietnam history in the mid 20th century. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner and relax in the city.
Day 4: Saigon – Cai Be – Bassac Cruise (B/L/D)
Leave Ho Chi Minh city for Cai Be for our lovely cruise tour in Mekong Delta, the largest basket of rice in Vietnam. Board on Bassac Cruise at noon, get welcome drink and tour information from crews. Have lunch while cruising toward Cho Lach in Tien Giang province, admire beautiful view along river banks like villages, coconut trees, fruit gardens, and daily life.
Enjoy sunset on sun deck on the way to Mang Thit river. Dinner on cruise. Bassac cruise anchors nearby Tra On floating market.
Day 5: Cai Be – Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market
(B/L/D)
Get up early for watching sunrise and having breakfast at 6:30 AM. Cruise though Tra On Floating market then toward Can Tho city. Arrive Cai Rang Floating market, get on local boat to explore the best famous floating market in Mekong Delta. Back to Ninh Kieu pier by the mid morning. Lunch on cruise while cruising. Get on the shore by mid-afternoon to discover peaceful countryside in the Delta. Move through rice paddy fields and fruit gardens with chatting with the locals. Return to Bassac cruise, enjoy drink and sunset. Dinner and over night on cruise on Mang Thit river.
Day 6: Can Tho – Cai Be – Ho Chi Minh city (B/L/-)
Morning depart to Cai Be. Our cruise moves across Co Chien river, then go deep into Cho Lach for about 30 minutes to witness river traffic of sand and rice barges, fruit drying, ship yard….Use small motor boat to mingle inside Cai Be floating market. Back to Bassac cruise and continue to Ho Chi Minh city. Tour end in Ho Chi Minh city.
