Day 1: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Can Tho.
The tour starts at your hotel at around 08:00am, from where we drive to Cai Be. On the way to Cai Be, you can see green rice fields stretching towards the horizon. After arrival in Cai Be, we take a sampan(local transport) cruise to visit the rice cake producer, rice paper workshop and the popcorn/coconut candy mill. After the production visit we go to the Cai Be floating market, where sellers and buyers are bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. We then visit the Ba Kiet ancient house, where we also have lunch. After lunch we take a boat to visit the An Binh islands (Vinh Long). On An Binh there will be a chance to enjoy the local tropical fruits while listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. We then continue our drive to Cant Tho, where we check-in at our hotel. In the evening you will have dinner and time to explore the area by you self. (-/L/ D)
Day 2: Cai Rang floating market - Chau Doc.
After breakfast, we start our trip with a boat cruise on the endless Mekong River, to the colorful Cai Rang floating market. At the market there will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish. We continue the trip with another visit to a market located beside the river. At the market we can watch the local people buy, sell or exchange their products. From the market visiting a village to see the locals' way of living. Leaving the local village and driving to Chau Doc Town, where we visit the woman pagoda and Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple. (B/ L/D)
Day 3: Chau Doc - Saigon.
After breakfast at the hotel we take a boat trip through the floating village to visit the a fish farm and the Cham minority people. We then leave Chau Doc and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.(B/-/-)
